Trump's historic mugshot is released: Ex-president is arrested on Georgia election fraud charges - before posting his first Tweet in two-and-a-half years and defiantly telling supporters to 'never surrender'
The first-ever mugshot of former President Donald Trump has been released following his surrender in Fulton County, Georgia, on election fraud charges. Just like a common criminal, he was officially booked and fingerprinted by authorities at the Fulton County jail. Next, the former president had a mugshot taken and was promptly released on $200,000 bail. The former president headed down to Georgia on Thursday afternoon from his Bedminster, New Jersey, home and said he was 'proudly' being arrested on racketeering and conspiracy charges based on his alleged efforts to overthrow the 2020 election.
